ToorCon Foundation
The ToorCon Foundation is a charitable nonprofit corporation dedicated to organize and coordinate the distribution of technology and technology-related grants to the underprivileged.
Specifically, the ToorCon Foundation has put laptops in the only Montessori School in India and has helped provide admission and travel assistance scholarships for students to come to ToorCon events. Another major goal of the ToorCon Foundation is to provide financial assistance to underprivileged areas of the world by providing technology-related grants to individuals and organizations to benefit open source security-related software projects.
The ToorCon Foundation mostly receives funding through auctions, benefits, and fundraisers at ToorCon events as well as both monetary and material donations.
Organization
 The ToorCon Foundation consists of a board of directors and volunteers that are in charge of overseeing operations, organizing benefits, writing grants and sponsorships, and creating strategic partnerships with other organizations to pursue the goals of the foundation. |
Projects
 The ToorCon Foundation has a few different main projects at the moment. The main focus is with helping Alpha Public School in Delhi, India and providing scholarships to students around the world.
